As the largest Costume House in Germany, Theaterkunst offers not only approximately 1.000.000 pieces to outfit all sizes of national and international productions, but it is also able to craft the craziest ideas for the wildest project you can ever imagine.
Starting 1907, Theaterkunst first equipped all the big Theatre Houses in Berlin, quickly adapting to the new and growing film industry. Today, they not only rent costumes, but they also build a unique fundus for every customer to scoop and create from.
Their in-house craft shop – employing costume designers, tailors, costume painters, as well as experts in other crafts – can create exactly the costume a production needs and is elevated by.
Besides their excellence in collecting pieces of all times and periods, they also grew in networks of manufacturers, designers and other international costume houses. Their modern production allows for short and flexible delivery, and can also produce directly on set.
